How to Use This Tool
Add Your Files
Drag and drop PDFs and images (JPEG, PNG, WebP) onto the input container, or click the Add Files button below the container to browse. All uploaded files appear as page thumbnails inside the container. Per-file limits: PDF 50MB, JPEG 15MB, PNG 20MB, WebP 10MB. Total limit: 200MB.
Organize & Select Pages
Reorder pages by dragging thumbnails to new positions. Select or deselect specific pages using checkboxes, use Select All / Deselect All, type a page range (e.g. 1-4, 3-8) and click Apply, rotate pages on hover, or delete unwanted pages. The Input label shows how many pages are selected out of the total.
Merge Files
Click the Merge Files button below the container. A spinner overlay appears while merging. Once complete, the container switches from Input to Output view displaying the merged PDF. To make changes, click Back To Files to return to the page grid, edit as needed, and click Merge Files again.
Download
Optionally enter a custom filename in the Filename field below the container before or after merging - if left empty, the file downloads as "merged.pdf". Click Download Merged PDF to save the file. Click Clear All to remove all files and start fresh.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
▼
No. This free PDF merger runs 100% in your browser with no server uploads. Your files are never uploaded anywhere - all merging, rendering, and processing happens entirely on your device. Merge PDF files without uploading to any server.
What file types can I merge?
▼
Combine PDF and images into one PDF - supports PDF, JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg), PNG, and WebP. PDFs are merged page-by-page preserving vectors and quality. Images are scaled to fit A4-sized pages and centered. WebP images are converted to JPEG during the merge since PDF does not natively support WebP.
What are the file size limits?
▼
PDF files up to 50MB each, JPEG up to 15MB, PNG up to 20MB, and WebP up to 10MB. The total combined size across all files cannot exceed 200MB.
How many pages can I merge?
▼
There is no hard page limit. You need at least 2 selected pages - select specific PDF pages to merge with full flexibility. The practical limit depends on your browser's available memory. Files with hundreds of pages work fine on most devices.
Can I reorder pages from different PDFs?
▼
Yes. Reorder PDF pages online free by dragging thumbnails. All pages from all uploaded files appear in a single grid - drag any thumbnail to any position to interleave pages from different documents freely.
Can I remove specific pages before merging?
▼
Yes, two ways. Deselect a page's checkbox to select specific pages to merge (excluded pages stay visible but faded). Or hover over a thumbnail and click the red delete button to permanently remove it.
What happens if I refresh the page?
▼
Everything is saved to your browser's IndexedDB - uploaded files, page selections, rotations, and merged output. Refreshing restores everything exactly as you left it. Click Clear All to remove all stored data.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
▼
No. PDF pages are copied directly, preserving all vectors, text, and image quality. Images (JPEG, PNG, WebP) are embedded at their original resolution, scaled to fit A4 dimensions.
